Blake Swerdloff

Founder & Executive Producer

Blake Swerdloff was born and raised in New York and is a 5-time Emmy nominated producer. Prior to launching Leesam Creative Group, he was a founding partner of BSTV Entertainment. There, he developed and ran Food Network’s #1 Daytime series The Kitchen as well as Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, Beach Bites with Katie Lee, Rewrapped, and What the Fung?!

Swerdloff began his career at MTV Networks on The Tom Green Show. From there he worked with an array of networks including The Disney Channel, ABC, VH1, E!, BET, A&E, MSNBC, truTV and Discovery Channel. He also ran the highly successful HGTV program, The High Low Project, with host Sabrina Soto.

Blake Swerdloff is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America and works closely with organizations such as The Human Rights Campaign and Live Out Loud.

The History of Leesam


Leesam made its humble beginnings in New York in the early 1900s and has evolved through four generations. It is still rooted in entrepreneurship, ambition, creativity and community as it was from the start.


Sam
1906: Arrived in Brooklyn, NY at age 18. ​To earn money, he would collect plumbing parts from empty buildings. He sold the parts on the streets of Manhattan.
1932: At age 20, Leo joined his father Sam and together they created Leesam Plumbing Supply.​
Leo
1948: Leesam bought a small building in the Chelsea neighborhood.
1958: At age 13, David began to work after school and on weekends with his father and grandfather.

David
1985: After his father and grandfather passed, David expanded upon the plumbing business and began designing kitchens and bathrooms. Leesam Plumbing Supply became Leesam Kitchen & Bath Center.​
1995: Blake begins working summers at Leesam.

Blake
2020: To honor his family’s company namesake, Blake continues the legacy and creates Leesam Creative Group.
